crop out the stove and gas pipes on the left side crop out the drop cloths on the fireplace in the back of the room add stained wood shelving to the open areas paint the unpainted areas white on the cabinets stain the mantle with the same color as the shelving add furniture in the room a couch in a light fabric along with a love seat in light fabric two recliners that are modern and a coffee table and neutral colored rug sofa table behind the larger couch add minimal accessories and do the rendering in a transitional style add double rod full height curtains to the windows with a sheer underneath and a neutral print on the outer curtain change the marble on the fireplace to wood painted trim add a tv above the mantle a neutral upholstered chair in the corner by the window and shelves a loveseat on the left in front of the window the bigger couch on the right side where the two recliners are and keep the same recliners but put them facing the fireplace using the same furniture style now use a sectional sofa on the right side of the living room and facing the fireplace and put the same two recliner type chairs in front of the window with one facing the tv and one in the corner by the shelves with a table in between for the open shelving the shelves should be stained but the rest of it should be painted white turn the sectional the other way with the long side facing the fireplace and the short side with chaise on the right side keep the sofa table behind the long side facing the fireplace now keep the furniture the same and everything else the same except change the fireplace surround back to a stained plain mantel with a white painted plain trim around the actual fireplace remove the extra upholstered chair on the right side and move the sectional closer to the fireplace
