the project is a cultural diffusion center located at el pueblo de los ngeles where devotion learning and expression converge at its heart a 3 610 sq ft upper courtyard floats between the workshop and lecture wings a breathing terrace that connects sky and ground through a central glass floor allowing light to cascade down into the level below the courtyard is not a void but a living stage by day it hosts workshops crafts and conversations under a patterned lattice canopy inspired by talavera tiles by night it glows like a veladora candle reflecting the mural of the virgen mar a nearby materials blend tradition and openness terracotta surfaces bamboo edges glass reflections and shadowed pathways the upper level is the air of the guayabera breathable and rhythmic while the floor below holds the great hall where community gatherings echo with laughter and storytelling architecture
