keep the windows geometry and the exact same couch and curtain change everything else for example a beutiful huge built in behind the couch along the whole wall new rug and wall color new lamps etc make it cosy but modern change the floor to dark brown round rug colors beige brown grey bring in the colors of the curtain elevate the look somehow darker wall colour change window frame color to black etc
