the home is set on a steep hillside in a high alpine environment the hillside is scattered with pine tree s and there is a significant amount of snow on the ground it s currently snowing very hard all of the exterior walls of the house are clad with a horizontal black shou sugi ban siding the exposed wood decks roof soffit and structural framing are natural wood and are stained a dark brown the railings are powder coated black the garage doors are horizontal wood stained to match the other exposed wood the windows are reflective with a very light blue tint a skier with a yellow jacket jumps off the left side of the upper roof using it like a giant ramp to do a front flip in mid air
