the home is set on a steep hillside in a high alpine environment the hillside is scattered with pine tree s and there is a significant amount of snow on the ground the lower and upper walls of the house are clad with a horizontal shou sugi ban siding the exposed wood decks roof and posts and beams are stained a dark brown the railings are powder coated black the garage doors are horizontal wood stained to match the other exposed wood the windows are reflective with a very light blue tint a skiier with a yellow jacket jumps off the left side of the upper roof using it like a giant ramp to do a front flip in mid air
