modernist exterior shot the building is a residential property intended for rental the location is the village of barbati on the island of corfu greece it is situated on sloped terrain access to the building is provided via a staircase and an elevator the entrance to the elevator is located on the first lateral terrace opposite the starting flight of the staircase at the top of the third terrace there is a platform at the same level as the house s ground floor the swimming pool features an overflow edge along the vertical wall of the third terrace the surrounding vegetation consists of olive trees cypresses and low local autochthonous shrubbery the terraces are built using locally sourced hand hewn stone the house is finished with a white fine textured plaster windows and doors are glazed with aluminum frames in an anthracite color architecture
