please bump out the closest end of the island to the kitchen and add 3 barstools 1 on the end one of the right side and one on the left side raise only that added portion of counter to bar height so it is a bit taller than the rest of the island counter do not change anything about the current island or kitchen please just add on this extension do not widen the island at all just lengthen it away from the stove
