confidential purpose of this document this is a visitor first design narrative written as the experience of a person walking into the petropoulos stand for the first time with no prior knowledge of what they will find every design decision is described through what the visitor sees feels hears and understands at each step of the journey the stand is built on three tools silver aluminium box truss as the unified structural and architectural language across both stands zone coloured exhibition carpet as the floor level identity system and large format led screens as the primary storytelling medium there are no solid walls anywhere on this stand the space is open breathable and fully visible from every approach angle because the machines are spectacular enough to sell themselves if only you give them the stage they deserve the design principle an open arena no walls none this is not a cost decision it is an experience decision a wall closes a wall says this is not for you until you choose to enter an open stand says the opposite it says look come the machines are right there in the light waiting the visitor approaches from the main aisle of metropolitan expo reads as one continuous architectural canopy beneath it the carpet colours shift the lighting shifts the content on the screens shifts but the structure is one the statement is one petropoulos owns this space the truss one system two stands a unified grid of silver raw aluminium finish 290 mm box truss spans both stands in a continuous coherent system silver not black not white not painted the natural aluminium finish catches the exhibition hall s ambient light and throws it back as a warm glint it reads as precision engineering it reads as motorsport infrastructure it is entirely appropriate to everything exhibited beneath it geometry stand b2 ktm husqvarna 11 m wide 18 5 m long the b2 truss grid consists of two longitudinal runs of box truss at 3 m height spanning the full 18 5 m length spaced 11 m apart the full stand width supported on four vertical uprights one at each corner of the 11 18 5 m footprint four transverse cross members spanning the 11 m width one at each end and two evenly spaced through the interior creating a rigid rectangular grid from this grid hang all lights all screens all banners all brand identification geometry stand c2 noos can am lobby 11 m wide 18 5 m long the c2 truss grid is identical in structure to b2 same silver finish same 11 m 18 5 m footprint same four uprights same transverse rhythm the visual continuity between b2 and c2 is immediate and intentional the connecting span a single additional transverse truss run bridges the gap between b2 and c2 at the shared boundary at 3 m height from this connector hangs the petropoulos identification band a 10 m wide 1 2 m tall backlit fabric panel petropoulos wordmark in gold on deep charcoal centred between the two stands this is the crown of the arena visitors see it from 30 metres away before they see anything else designer note on the truss the silver truss is never disguised wrapped or apologised for it is a feature in b2 it will remind every visitor of a race car s roll cage in c2 s noos zone it will look like the interior of a high design industrial loft in the lobby it will read as the steel skeleton of a premium architectural space the truss is the same on every stand at every motorsport event in the world what makes it different here is how deliberately and consistently it is used and how beautifully the lighting plays off its surfaces the visitor journey from the aisle to the stand you are walking the main aisle of metropolitan expo the hall is busy stands compress on both sides temporary walls shell scheme partitions printed vinyl everywhere and then the petropoulos stand opens up no walls the silver truss grid overhead marks the space like a crown beneath it motorcycles scooters a three wheeled spyder flanking an entrance a glowing led screen the size of a cinema wall playing race footage a white carpet zone on one side a deep charcoal on the other a teal lit alcove in the distance a single illuminated e bike on a gold podium front and centre floating you stop you have not entered yet and you already know this stand is different you turn instinctively toward the petropoulos lobby at the centre of c2 because the gold pedestal and the glowing heritage wall behind it are the visual anchor point but to your left ktm s orange led strip draws your eye to your right the spyders are gate guardians you want to walk through there is no single correct path every direction is an invitation this is the experience the design must create everything that follows is in service of that moment stand b2 ktm husqvarna 11 m wide 18 5 m long 203 5 m raw performance meets scandinavian craft stand b2 is the performance stand it is the one that stops people in their tracks from the aisle that pulls them in with energy and sends them back out exhilarated the floor zone definition through carpet the 203 5 m of b2 is divided between two brands by nothing more than a change of carpet colour no walls no partitions no physical barriers the floor is the architecture ktm zone 130 m deep charcoal black exhibition carpet it is night it is asphalt it is the track surface of a circuit at midnight the bikes glow orange and silver against it every chrome detail catches the light differently at floor level the visitor s eye travels downward takes in the carpet then rises to the machines and they are twice as impactful for the dark field they stand against the ktm zone boundary is marked by a 10 cm band of ktm orange vinyl tape at the perimeter where it meets the husqvarna zone this strip is the starting line cross it and you are in the ktm world husqvarna zone 73 5 m a sudden shift to white exhibition carpet the visitor steps from night into a scandinavian morning the same ceiling the same silver truss but the space transforms the white floor bounces light upward softening the atmosphere the vitpilen and svartpilen models look like gallery objects the space breathes the contrast with the ktm zone is immediate total and achieved with nothing more than a roll of carpet the husqvarna zone boundary a 10 cm band of cobalt blue vinyl tape at the perimeter the brand s own blue whisper quiet as a boundary unmistakeable as an identity marker the ktm experience ready to race the visitor enters the ktm zone and the first thing they feel is the scale of the led screen not see feel it is large enough that peripheral vision registers it before the eye focuses on it the ktm led screen wall a 4 m wide 2 5 m tall led video wall p3 pitch hangs from the truss at the rear of the zone centred at eye level its bottom edge at 50 cm from the floor its top edge at 3 m the content plays on loop dakar rally desert rc8c on a circuit exc in forest enduro terrain a duke pulling away from traffic in a city fast cuts no titles no voiceover the soundtrack is engines and tyres the visitor stands in front of 15 20 motorcycles and watches the same machines doing what they were built to do the screen makes every static bike on the floor feel alive two vertical graphic banners 1 m 2 5 m each hang from the truss flanking the screen ktm orange field the words ready to race in white all caps the brand s typeface these are the only words anywhere in the ktm zone the hero motorcycle podium one motorcycle the rc8c or the 1390 super duke r stands on a low podium 40 cm high 180 cm diameter wrapped in black vinyl placed at the geometric centre of the ktm zone directly in front of the led screen four led uplighters placed at the base of the podium project light upward across the chassis making the hero bike the brightest point in the zone visitors walk around it they cannot help it the supporting fleet 15 20 ktm motorcycles arranged in a broad arc around the hero podium never in a flat line every bike is angled 7 10 toward the visitor they lean slightly as if turning adventure models at the back duke and smc r models at the flanks the more compact exc and motocross models given space to breathe between them minimum 120 cm between each unit this is not a storage yard it is a gallery of machines lighting ktm zone from the silver truss led par cans at 4200k cool white positioned on the truss grid above each bike individual spots not flood each machine has its own light its own shadow its own presence led moving heads at the four truss corners mounted facing inward programmed to sweep slowly with orange gelled beams above visitor height during show hours the beams cross and dissolve above head level the ceiling of the ktm zone is alive with orange light it is the single most photographed element on the stand visitors look up and reach for their phones orange led strip tape running along the full lower chord of the truss 18 5 m two longitudinal runs so that the truss itself becomes a glowing orange rectangle in the air above the zone from the aisle before entering the visitor sees an orange frame overhead they know without reading a sign that they are approaching ktm the ktm info point positioned at the rear right corner of the zone visible from both the zone interior and from the lobby threshold a 55 portrait screen running the spec browser beside it two tablets on floor standing arms above the station a small hanging banner from the truss ktm info tap your phone the first sign in the zone that invites interaction rather than spectacle the visitor arrives here after they have already been captivated this is where they convert from audience to prospect the husqvarna experience still precise inevitable cross the orange line on the floor and everything changes the white carpet the quieter light the bikes arranged not in an arc of power but in a considered diagonal like a sentence read left to right each model a word in a vocabulary of precision the husqvarna led screen wall a 3 m wide 2 m tall led video wall p3 pitch at the rear of the husqvarna zone hung from the truss the content is the counter argument to ktm s slow motion footage of a svartpilen on a mountain road at dawn a vitpilen threading through city traffic with unhurried confidence a rider removing their helmet in the rain and just standing there long cuts the husqvarna soundtrack is wind not engines space not speed the visitor who felt the ktm zone in their chest will feel the husqvarna zone in their mind compact model display the vitpilen 401 and svartpilen 401 the four compact models are placed on low rectangular white podiums 20 cm high 120 cm 70 cm arranged in a slight curve at the front of the zone rectangular not round they read as gallery plinths not race podiums the yellow seat details and chrome accents are given room to breathe against the white carpet and white podium surface these small beautiful objects deserve stillness around them the ktm husqvarna boundary no wall where the two zones meet there is no physical divider the carpet colour changes black to white that is all but to signal the distinction clearly a low horizontal truss element a single run of silver box truss at 1 2 m height spanning 5 m across the zone boundary carries a printed perforated vinyl banner on each face one face says ktm the other says husqvarna the perforated vinyl means you can see through it from both sides sightlines remain open but you understand this is a threshold from above from any oblique angle the two zones remain visually connected under the same truss sky lighting husqvarna zone from the silver truss led par cans at 3800k neutral warm white softer and less directional than ktm s cool spots cobalt blue led strip tape along the truss lower chord above the husqvarna zone the brand blue continuous quiet where ktm s orange overhead strip shouts husqvarna s blue whispers no moving heads in this zone the stillness is deliberate the husqvarna info point a white fabric wrapped counter 43 portrait screen on each end two tablets centred above it a hanging banner husqvarna vitpilen svartpilen cobalt blue on white minimal the visitor knows they have arrived somewhere specific stand c2 noos ecoshift can am petropoulos lobby 11 m wide 18 5 m long 203 5 m innovation power and a hundred years of purpose stand c2 is the stand that surprises the visitor who has spent time in b2 crosses into c2 expecting more motorcycles they find an electric scooter gallery a spyder that looks like it landed from another dimension and at the heart of it all a lobby that tells the story of a company that has been doing this for a century the same silver truss grid 11 m wide 18 5 m long spans c2 identically to b2 same uprights same geometry same finish the architecture is continuous only the world beneath it changes the noos ecoshift experience the future quietly the floor deep teal exhibition carpet rgb 0 111 147 the noos brand colour matched as closely as exhibition carpet manufacture allows the visitor steps onto teal and the temperature of the space changes this is not a motorsport zone this is a premium design environment the noos zone boundary a 10 cm band of teal vinyl tape on the perimeter facing the lobby and the can am zone clean brand accurate unmistakeable the noos led screen wall a 3 m wide 2 m tall led video wall p3 pitch at the rear of the noos zone the content a noos scooter in morning light moving slowly through empty streets a delivery rider opening a cargo hatch and handing over a package a moment of genuine human connection the scooter charging overnight in a kitchen the battery blinking green no voiceover no titles just a product living its life beside the screen wall against the rear truss uprights the bes 1 0 energy storage unit on a white low podium and directly beside it a 55 landscape screen showing a live or simulated live energy dashboard real time co offset battery cycles completed kilometres driven electrically by noos vehicles today this is the ecoshift story told in a single glance without a single word of explanation required the scooter display 8 noos scooters 6 standard 2 cargo in a semi circular arc on the teal carpet no podiums they stand on their own side stands on the carpet each is given 80 cm minimum clearance on each side each has a slender chrome pole beside it carrying a portrait colour swatch card a4 format 300 gsm showing the 2026 palette the two cargo scooters are centred in the arc the most prominent positions because the cargo story is the most unexpected and important one noos tells one has a branded delivery box mounted on its rack the visitor reads it immediately this is a working vehicle not a concept the biophilic element at the zone entry at the left hand truss upright three sculptural potted plants dark leafed tall living arranged at different heights on two low white cube plinths they are hired from a plant rental company they are alive in a hall full of fabricated surfaces and printed vinyl three real plants at human height stop people the noos zone is the only place on this stand where something is growing this is not an accident the noos charging activation one scooter in the arc is physically connected to a real noos charging point powered from the stand s electrical supply a small screen mounted on the charging unit shows the battery percentage rising in real time the visitor watches a product charging not a video of a product charging the actual product at the actual rate in the actual hall this is the most honest product demonstration in the building lighting noos zone from the silver truss led par cans at 3000k warm white the warmest light on the stand soft indirect feeling even though it is direct teal led strip tape along the truss lower chord above the noos zone the carpet colour lifted into the air completing a teal envelope that the visitor stands inside four led uplighters at floor level tucked behind the outermost scooters projecting upward the scooters are lit from below as well as above giving them a sculptural quality no other vehicle on the stand has the noos info point a teal vinyl wrapped counter a standard trestle table front face vinyl wrapped in noos teal two 43 portrait screens flanking the central counter surface nfc noos cards in a holder qr code to the i move electric subsidy calculator manrope typeface throughout per noos brand guidelines tagline on the screen loop engineering the future we believe in the can am experience electric evolved the visitor turns from the quiet certainty of the noos zone and confronts the can am zone and the first things they see are the two spyders the floor deep anthracite exhibition carpet with a 10 cm red vinyl tape boundary dark and purposeful across the anthracite surface runs a pattern of diagonal tyre tread vinyl strips motorsport graphic vinyl applied directly to the carpet surface suggesting tyre tracks across a proving ground the visitor looks down and understands machines have been here fast ones the spyder gate guardians the two spyders f3 limited and rt limited are positioned flanking the entry to the can am zone facing outward toward the aisle they are not inside the zone waiting to be discovered they are at the threshold and they face the visitor like sentinels the f3 on the left sport lean aggressive angle the rt limited on the right touring commanding slightly elevated on a 5 cm platform between them a gap of exactly 2 2 m wide enough to invite entry narrow enough to feel deliberate walking between the two spyders to enter the can am zone is the single most theatrical moment on the entire stand the can am led screen wall a 4 m wide 2 5 m tall led video wall p4 pitch the largest single screen on either stand at the rear of the can am zone the content rotates between the three product families origin 73 and pulse 73 on canyon roads at speed an outlander atv navigating mud and boulders a spyder rt on a coastal highway at sunset each product gets 30 seconds of pure scored footage between sequences a five second black frame then the words electric evolved in white on black full screen no logo the pause is as powerful as the action vehicle arrangement behind the spyder gate guardians the three electric motorcycles origin 73 and pulse 73 are placed in a v formation on the anthracite carpet no platform angled 12 outward from the centreline each one showing its profile to a different approach angle every visitor who walks through the spyder gateway sees at least one e moto full face from their specific entry vector the two outlander atvs are positioned at the rear flanks of the zone the largest footprint vehicles on the stand 1 2 m 2 0 m each angled at 15 opposition to each other as if caught mid conversation behind them directly against the truss uprights a low tray of rough stones and gravel the only terrain element on the stand contained and deliberate signalling off road capability without theatrical excess the mirror element at the rear upright of the can am zone a chrome mirror vinyl panel 2 m 1 5 m applied to the face of the truss upright the spyder gate guardians are reflected in it from the interior of the zone the visitor standing at the rear looking back toward the entry sees the spyders doubled mirrored multiplied the zone is 50 m but it feels larger this is the simplest illusion in the design toolkit and one of the most effective lighting can am zone from the silver truss led par cans at 3500k for vehicle lighting red led strip tape along the truss lower chord above the zone can am brand red low and dramatic at ceiling level two led moving heads at the front corners of the can am truss section programmed to sweep slowly above visitor height with red gelled beams they synchronise with the moving heads in the ktm zone on the opposite stand at certain moments both stands pulse simultaneously and visitors at the centre of the aisle feel they are between two worlds of energy the can am info point a double sided info tower two 43 screens mounted back to back on a floor standing steel frame wrapped in black vinyl with the brp can am logo one screen runs the vehicle comparison tool pulse 73 vs origin 73 vs spyder rt vs f3 the other runs a test ride registration interface one ipad on a side arm for spyder booking the petropoulos lobby 100 years four futures occupying the remaining 93 5 m of stand c2 the lobby is the gravitational centre of the entire exhibition it sits within the c2 stand occupying the space between the noos zone the can am zone and the open aisle but it belongs to no brand it belongs to petropoulos the floor warm mid grey exhibition carpet the only neutral colour on the stand after the charged coloured zones of both b2 and c2 stepping onto the grey carpet of the lobby is like stepping into a clearing the visitor exhales the lobby is the pause in the sentence the heritage led wall the centrepiece of the entire stand at the rear centre of the lobby beneath the silver truss a 4 m wide 2 5 m tall led video wall p2 5 pitch high resolution for close viewing is the first thing visible from the main aisle this is the landmark every other element on the stand radiates outward from this screen the content is a looping 90 second heritage film petropoulos in 1926 a founding moment a handshake a first delivery then decades of expansion brand partnerships the evolution of the greek motoring landscape archive photographs dissolve into contemporary footage the ktm husqvarna noos can am logos appear in sequence each one shown as the latest chapter in a hundred year story the film ends on the present this stand these machines and loops the visitor who stops to watch for 90 seconds understands without reading a word that petropoulos is not a pop up distributor they are an institution above the screen mounted directly to the face of the truss cross member petropoulos in gold vinyl lettering 15 cm cap height 3d spacing between letters the only time the company name appears this large anywhere on the stand the premium e bike podium positioned at the front of the lobby directly in the sightline from the main aisle the first object a visitor sees before they read any brand name or identify any motorcycle a low circular podium 40 cm high 120 cm diameter wrapped in gold vinyl the e bike stands on it at a 12 angle to the aisle lit from below by four led uplighters it floats it is the signal petropoulos curates beyond motorcycles whatever they bring you it will be worth your time the surprise exhibit alcove a 2 m recessed structure fabricated from black painted lightweight board open fronted within the lobby boundary to the left of the heritage wall the interior is jet black a single narrow beam led spot 15 beam 3000k hangs from the truss above it on a short drop cable aimed directly into the alcove a black velvet curtain on a chrome track closes the space on the curtain in small white vinyl lettering revealed at opening the visitor s eye is drawn to the closed curtain they cannot see inside they register the mystery they make a note to return at opening time this one curtain the cheapest element on the entire stand may generate more conversation and anticipation than any of the motorcycles the visitor lounge four to six low black lounge chairs arranged in an open l shape facing the heritage wall screen a low steel coffee table at the centre on the table a single card a5 format black 350 gsm with a gold qr code on one side tap or scan and you access the full digital hub all four brand zones test ride booking digital brochures exhibition programme no other printed matter exists anywhere on this stand the lounge faces the heritage wall visitors who sit down watch the 90 second film they rest they observe other visitors moving through the zones the lobby becomes the one place at the moto expo where a person can pause gather themselves and feel that they have been taken care of the wayfinding totem at the geometric centre of the lobby the exact midpoint of the c2 stand a 4 m high vertical truss column assembled from the same silver box truss this is a structural section of the same truss family not a bespoke fabrication its four faces each carry a backlit fabric tension panel 40 cm wide 120 cm tall one per brand ktm husqvarna noos can am each panel shows the brand logo a directional arrow and the one image that best represents that brand s hero vehicle the column is the compass stand anywhere in the lobby or approach from the main aisle and the four faces tell you exactly where each world begins the digital concierge a single 43 touchscreen in portrait orientation on a brushed steel floor stand positioned at the lobby entry beside the e bike podium it is the first digital touchpoint a visitor encounters it requires no staff to operate it does not demand attention it simply stands there available glowing softly visitors who want to plan their visit use it visitors who want to wander ignore it the social media wall on one of the lobby facing truss uprights a second 43 screen landscape running a real time feed of posts tagged petropoulosmotoexpo2026 visitors who have already been to the stand and posted appear on this screen moments later they pull other visitors over to point at it the stand photographs itself and displays the photographs the social proof is live continuous and costs nothing to operate sound design the invisible architecture each zone has its own audio signature played at low ambient volume through a compact speaker hung from the truss below the 80 db boundary limit at the stand perimeter inaudible to adjacent stands fully present within each zone ktm zone engine ignition the crack of a downshift crowd noise from a rally stage not music motorsport sound the visitor s nervous system responds before their brain does husqvarna zone near silence wind across an open hillside distant water occasionally a single engine note smooth resolved far away the quiet is deliberate and conspicuous after the ktm zone noos zone urban ambient distant traffic the hum of a city morning a bicycle bell a door opening no engine note the sound of a city that has moved past combustion without announcing it can am zone adventure soundscape atv engines gravel under tyres a rider s breath behind a visor a spyder on an open highway the mood is larger than the space it comes from lobby a low warm underscore ambient music without a clear genre designed to feel like the soundtrack to a company reel unobtrusive continuous connective sound is the one dimension of the stand that no photograph can communicate and no competitor can replicate without deliberate intention it costs almost nothing it changes everything scent the deepest brand memory in the noos zone only a single professional grade fragrance diffuser placed discreetly behind the plant grouping at the zone entry the scent is pine and fresh air clean outdoor unambiguously natural it is not perfume it is the absence of the exhibition hall s standard institutional smell visitors in the noos zone cannot identify why the space feels different but they remember it differently scent linked memory is the most durable form of brand recall this is the most powerful element on the stand per square centimetre occupied it occupies zero square centimetres sustainable plus built into the design the stand is inherently sustainable because it is inherently open no walls means no mdf panels cut and discarded no bespoke fabricated elements means no single use material the silver truss is hired and returned the carpet is laid dry and lifted intact the screens are hired panels reassembled elsewhere next week the vinyl graphics are removable without substrate damage the plants are rented and go back to a nursery the entire stand both b2 and c2 407 m in total is assembled and disassembled without a skip zero printed collateral anywhere on the stand with one exception the single qr card in the lobby which is a design object as much as a functional tool lighting specification unified system from silver truss all
