finish off the ceiling with sheetrock replace the recessed lighting put a more modern chandelier in the middle over a large dining room table put 4 beams running the same way as the rafters all evenly spaced out put 3 75in white oak flooring with no stain on the floor replace everythign in the middle that is covered in plastic put a big wood dining room table and chairs under the chandelier
