apply the paint color from my reference image to the tongue and groove ceiling only match the color as accurately as possible including its undertones depth and finish preserve the existing tongue and groove texture grooves and wood detail so the painted ceiling still reads as real wood rather than a flat surface ensure the paint coverage is even while allowing the texture and craftsmanship of the ceiling to remain visible do not change the ceiling design beam trim walls fireplace columns cabinetry flooring furniture lighting or any other materials the only modification should be replacing the current ceiling color with the paint color from my reference while maintaining the existing tongue and groove detail and overall realism
