remove the fireplace from the center of the wall make the center section of the wall slightly bigger so it will accommodate a king bed and two nightstands make the book cases on either end of the wall slightly smaller to allow for the center section to be larger add a transitional style bed and night stands and elegant bedding make the bookshelves with cabinets beneath look more updated
