add a building on the slope of the ravine the building is composed of 5 above ground floors and accommodates natural topography and architectural articulation the structure hosts the visitor centre of the eco resort as well as administrative offices commercial spaces and resort management services the building emphasizes minimal land occupation and visual permeability the building is integrated into the landscape so well that it maintains ecological continuity and reduces visual intrusion the building spans the valley like a bridge resting on both opposing slopes a continuous void remains beneath the structure ensuring air light and natural flows pass unimpeded foundations and supports of the building are minimized and carefully integrated into the topography to preserve the natural features of the site the building features flat roofs but arranged in staggered terraced levels that break the visual mass of the building and respond to the curved alignment the roofline avoids a straight profile instead adopting a stepped and modulated form to reduce the visual impact from surrounding viewpoints and blend with the topography the fa ade of the building features a ratio of 60 glazed surfaces to 40 opaque materials across all elevations the fa ade of the building features a refined palette of materials that enhance the building s integration with the landscape and reflects the eco resort s identity walnut wood warm toned timber used in vertical or horizontal panels alternating with glazing to soften the fa ade and evoke natural textures the building also features corten steel which introduces a vibrant weathered finish that echoes the tones of the surrounding rock and vegetation used as cladding for opaque portions of the fa ade the building also features brushed piasentina stone that provides a tactile muted grey surface for selected infill panels offering a solid contrast to glass and metal the building also features vein cut roman travertine with grooved finish used exclusively as horizontal string courses marking the slab lines with a subtle rhythmic cornice that adds refinement without heaviness the curvilinear plan of the building follows the natural contours of the valley reinforcing its adaptive and landscape sensitive identity underpasses and visual corridors beneath the building remain completely open and vegetated with potential for pedestrian circulation or ecological continuity low intensity shielded light fixtures are integrated into architecture thus minimizing light pollution
