my design is also heavily influenced by the work of cornelia parker particularly her explorations of explosion transformation and the hidden memories embedded in materials like parker s work my installation seeks to transform ordinary materials into something new and thought provoking the very materials that make up the structure are a reflection of the building s history creating a dialogue between the past present and future interactivity is central to the project i want visitors to engage directly with the installation to make the experience both educational and entertaining some parts of the structure will be open to the public allowing them to witness the water filtration process in real time by integrating this element of transparency i aim to foster a deeper understanding of how we might address water scarcity and environmental degradation architecture
