design a contemporary high rise student accommodation tower with a clear podium and tower composition the ground floor features a centrally located main entrance to the right of the entrance is a small retail tenancy and on the far right edge is a truck delivery driveway this side of the building faces a dead end street and is treated as a service edge above the ground floor is a 3 level parking podium clearly expressed with strong horizontal lines and wrapped in a perforated fa ade screen to allow ventilation the podium reads as a distinct base on top of the podium include a landscaped garden terrace rising above this base is a tall slender residential tower composed of many repetitive student accommodation floors over 20 levels the upper fa ade is defined by full height glazing and clearly visible horizontal slab lines to emphasize each individual floor the design should strongly differentiate between the screened parking podium and the glazed residential tower with realistic materials modern detailing and an urban context
