replace the existing ceiling beam with a realistic structural wood beam that is properly sized and proportioned for the room position the beam exactly where i have indicated running along the peak of the vaulted ceiling match the beam s dimensions to the ceiling height and room scale so it appears structurally accurate not oversized or undersized give the beam realistic wood grain texture subtle natural variation and crisp joinery where it meets the ceiling integrate it seamlessly into the architecture so it looks like an original structural element rather than something added afterward do not move the beam change the ceiling pitch alter the room proportions or modify the fireplace columns built ins furniture lighting or any other architectural elements the only change should be replacing my placeholder beam with a realistic properly scaled wood beam in the exact same location
