contemporary interior shot the backsplash is a taj mahal engineered quartz upper cabinets are white a touch of cream white bottom cabinets are a light contemporary oak color range hood is built and wrapped in the same quartz undecided on countertop colors yet our designer wants to do a darker color but we are thinking something not much darker or even the same as the backsplash quartz the whole design is modern minimalist janpadi inspired but the rest of our home is built in the early 2000s and has a very traditional look with crown molding arches etc so our designer designed the current plan with that in mind for flooring we are going with something that ties everything together we will be restaining our current hardwood floors our current floors has a lot of patterns and colors additionally hardware like door handles light fixtures are going to be a brass bronze color and the open shelves around the range top ok the design currently will actually be subbed out for cabinets the same length as the ones beside it we also want to make sure the lighting is plenty and good prioritizing simple easy to maintain fixtures but also keeping in mind to tie the kitchen into the rest of the house architecture
